SSJs Named “Employer of the Year”

Nicki Smith, Victor Concepcion, and Cathy Traver with Luke Mayo of Job Path after accepting the award

The Sisters of Saint Joseph are honored to be named The Arc Foundation of Monroe’s “Employer of the Year” thanks to our longtime partnership with The Arc’s Job Path program. The award was presented during “A Toast to the Arc” fundraiser on Friday, October 24. Cathy Traver, Nicki Smith, and Victor Concepcion accepted the award on behalf of SSJ.

This meaningful recognition celebrates “an individual or group who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for people supported by The Arc of Monroe to build skills, achieve goals, gain independence, and to move forward on their journey with greater self-confidence.” We are grateful to Luke Mayo, former Job Coach and current Director of Business Relations at Job Path, who nominated the Sisters for the award. Our collaboration with Job Path over the past 15 plus years has been a true blessing—one that reflects our shared commitment to dignity, inclusion, and opportunity for all.
