Nazareth Elementary Welcomes New Principal
Nazareth Elementary School has named Ms. Rhonda Neal as its new Principal. Ms. Neal brings 20 years of teaching and school administration experience to the role. She will continue Nazareth’s strong faith traditions as a ministry of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester by exemplifying her personal Christian values of faith, love, honesty, compassion, service, hope, and forgiveness in all she does.
“It is an absolute privilege to join such a dedicated community of students, parents, and educators,” said Ms. Neal. “I am eager to support the tradition of excellence at Nazareth Elementary and work to ensure that the valued legacy of the Sisters of Saint Joseph will continue through our school ministry with educators and leaders who are passionate about teaching, high-quality instruction, and demonstrate high expectations for all students.”
Ms. Neal also looks forward to bringing her wide scope of relationships and affiliations to the Nazareth community to foster a new chapter of growth while honoring over 150 years of Nazareth’s longstanding Catholic and faith-filled teachings in Rochester.
“As Sisters of Saint Joseph, we have a long history of providing excellent education to students of all ages. We are grateful for the service Sister Margaret Mancuso has offered for the last 14 years as Principal of Nazareth Elementary and are delighted to welcome Ms. Rhonda Neal to that position going forward.” states Sister Elaine Hollis, a member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester Leadership Team. “We are confident that under her inspired leadership, Nazareth Elementary will continue its strong tradition of being a place ‘where faith, love, and learning thrive.”
